01 – 02 June 2024 in Saint-Louis (68 FR)
Let me first explain you the context and why/how I put in place some optimization solutions.
In France during 2023 summer we had high restrictions of water consumptions for irrigation (either big agriculture surface or for particular gardens). Most concerned areas were south of France but we can predict that in the future will increase overall.
As a big fan of agriculture and gardening, since 2017 I’m improving the soil quality in my garden and every year I try new things. Most complicated period was when I get pregnant and I had to reduce a lot the surface due to lack of time (full time job as employee in corporate + managing NGOs activities) and health problems. So the dilemma came: how can I produce same quantity on a smaller surface. Another problem was the time spend during summer every 2 days to irrigate the entire surface (a lot time consuming for me and my husband). So I had another problem to resolve. An what if during summer you want to take a holiday for 2 weeks and no-one is available to irrigate your garden. Another issue to take care of. With a lot of creativity and patience to test different methods, I’m happy to show you the best solutions I validated.
DO YOU WANT TO KNOW :
- how you can maximize the production of fruits, vegetables and aromatic plants on small surface?
- what’s the best to cultivate to reduce your work time every year?
- how to put in place a drop by drop system only with water collected from rain? A real daily advantage but mainly when you want to leave for few days/weeks and you don’t want to let your pumping system opened (you never know when a pump can crash and make an inundation in your garage)
- what is and how to use « solid rain » to not affect the roots plants
- how to produce home made oyas with recycled materials and save a lot of money (is not difficult and doesn’t require a lot of time; it can be a real pleasure to do it with your children)
Then if you want to know all this and you have many other questions, don’t lose this opportunity!
